Cedric Bisson, Partner

Cedric joined Teralys Capital as Partner in September of 2011. Previously, Cedric headed the healthcare activities at iNovia Capital where he focused on building and investing in clinically meaningful opportunities in biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and related areas. Previously, he was associate principal at McKinsey & Company, a large international management consulting firm. His deep expertise in life sciences will contribute in executing TeralysÕ strategy in this sector. Cedric is very active on the community and art front, he sits on numerous boards such as ProCure, Montreal InVivo and Montreal Biennale of Art. Cedric obtained an M.D. Degree from McGill University and a J.D. Degree from UniversitŽ de MontrŽal.

Éric Legault, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Eric is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Teralys Capital. He is a senior investment executive with 20 years in the financing, strategic planning, and structuring of high technology and new media opportunities. Prior to the creation of Teralys, Éric was responsible for the venture capital program of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec as a direct and fund investor. His hands-on experience, straightforward approach, and creative problem-solving skills make him a key ally in supporting partner funds and entrepreneurs with solid advice, original strategies, and new approaches to challenges. Eric holds a B.A. in Finance from Université de Sherbrooke, a Diplôme d’études supérieures en commerce et affaires financières (D.É.S.C.A.F.) from École Supérieure de Commerce de Poitiers in France and an MBA in International Finance from McGill University.

Jacques Bernier, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Jacques is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Teralys Capital. He is a highly respected venture capitalist, entrepreneur and investor who has helped shape the Canadian technological innovation scene. Through a 35-year career of contributions to the high-tech community, he has been actively involved in more than a dozen emerging high-tech companies as founder or angel investor as well as Senior Vice-President of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Jacques’ widely valued wisdom and experience continue to define, develop and implement a new approach to venture capital in Canada and abroad. Jacques serves on the board of PolyFinances, InnoCité Montréal, Quartier de l’Innovation, IRIC and he also does philanthropy work. Jacques holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from École polytechnique de Montréal (B.Eng.)
